More About Sierra Nicole

These pictures are of Sierra Nicole. She is one of the more extreme doelings born to us this winter. I love the way the hair covers her nose and jaw as well as the way it cascades down her legs and body. She is sired by our MCH Sol-Orr’s Magnum and out of our Sol-Orr’s Shivaree. Shivaree’s sire and dam are both very long coated, but for some reason Shivaree has not come into her coat yet. Sometimes does can be very slow coming into coat, she seems to be throwing coat though and we are excited about that. Sierra Nicole will be retained for our breeding program.

.The picture, to the left, was taken on June 12, 2008. Sierra Nicole is almost four months old here. Her coat is coming in nicely and we are very excited about her future, she is showing a lot of promise.

The picture to the right was taken of Sierra Nicole the first of January, 2011. Her coat hasn’t developed as I hoped it would have by now, but that doesn’t mean that she won’t eventually have a full length coat. She is still one of my favorite does because of her stretchy, elegant body. She has a long neck, long body and legs and carries herself like a princess. Sierra is a special doe and I’m very excited to see what special traits she will throw in her kids.
